41 years ago, the U.S. hockey team, a bunch of ragtag college kids, pulled off an incredible upset against the Soviet Union during the Olympic Games in Lake Placid. The Soviet Union was a four-time defending gold medal team, but the U.S. team took them down 4-3. On paper, the U.S. never should have won that game, or the gold medal, but they didn't get that memo. They believed.
So in case you need to hear it, in case you feel like the odds are stacked against you, recognize they probably are. Use it as fuel for your fire, but don't you dare give up. If you need an extra dose of inspo, watch Disney's movie, "Miracle." If you aren't ready to run through a wall, you might not have a pulse.
